Leather and timber have always been associated with luxury, this set is a 3 games in one, with Backgammon, Chess and Checkers.  A beautiful collection, bound to become a family heirloom.

  • All 3 are games of skill and luck, with an element of class attached to each.  Backgammon is one of the oldest known board games. Its history can be traced back nearly 5,000 years.
  • It is a two player game where each player has fifteen pieces that move between twenty-four triangles (points) according to the roll of two dice. The objective of the game is to be first to bear off, i.e. move all fifteen pieces off the board. Backgammon is a member of the tables family, one of the oldest classes of board games.
  • Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a chessboard, a checkered gameboard with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid. The game is played by millions of people worldwide and is believed to have originated in India sometime before the 7th century.
  • English draughts or checkers is also called American checkers, it is played on an 8×8 chequered board with 12 pieces per side. The pieces move and capture diagonally forward, until they reach the opposite end of the board, when they are crowned and can thereafter move and capture both backward and forward.

Board Size: 34 cm x 34 cm ( 13.39 in x 13.39 in )
King Height: 7 cm ( 2.75 in )
