Born in Barbados on February 20, 1988, Robyn Rihanna Fenty started singing very early at the age of 7. Moving on with her talent she made a trio with two friends (girls) in high school and started performing on stage with them. From her childhood Rihanna was deeply impressed with pop queen and diva Madonna, and she always wanted to be known as “Black Madonna”. She grew up listening to local traditional genre of songs Reggae and opted to pursue her career in music after high school.
